Heart Disease is the No. 1 killer of Americans. It claims more lives than the next five causes of death combined.  One person in this country dies of heart disease every 33 seconds.  Men, women, children – everyone is vulnerable. But there is Hope. The Hope Heart Institute is committed to serving humanity through cardiovascular research and education.  We are dedicated to preventing and treating heart and blood vessel disease, and to improving the physical, emotional and spiritual quality of life for all at risk of – or afflicted with – cardiovascular disease.

The Hope is a Seattle-based 501(c)(3) non-profit. For nearly 50 years The Hope has been expanding its reach through clinical studies, basic research and translational medicine. The institute is also focused on actively fighting childhood obesity and raising awareness through its educational programs, health screenings and community outreach.

The Hope Heart Institute is committed to sharing its mission of beating heart disease through research, education and prevention programs. Community outreach, through media and community events, are some of the avenues for getting heart healthy information to the public.
