Volunteering is a great way to get involved in the community and share your passion for a good cause. It’s also good for your heart! Here are some of the ways volunteers can make a difference at The Hope:

 

  • Board of Directors: Join our dynamic Board of Directors.
  • Special events: Join us on a planning committee or event day.
  • Education: There are a number of ways to support our education programs in the classroom and out.
  • Fundraising: There are numerous opportunities for direct and indirect fundraising support.
  • Outreach Events: A great way to connect with the public about heart disease prevention! Share information, interactive activities and prevention tips with diverse audiences.
  • Nurses/Nursing Students: We’re always looking for nurses or nursing students to share their skills by taking blood pressure tests at various community health outreach events. Your support is invaluable in helping to educate the public about the importance of maintaining a health blood pressure.
